Axiory is a popular online broker that provides you with forex and CFD trading on a decent selection of financial instruments across various asset classes. I like how they offer a great choice of industry leading trading platforms including cTrader, MetaTrader and FIX API connectivity for institutional trading conditions. You can also get free access to some additional trading tools and educational materials to support you with your day trading activities. The broker requires a minimum deposit of just $10 to get started whilst there is always the option of a free demo account if you want to get a feel for what they have to offer before making a commitment.

Summary

Axiory is an online broker run by a team of committed visionaries that aim to deliver an innovative approach to forex and CFD trading. They were formed in 2012 by experienced fund managers, and have since grown to become one of the most established global brokers.

The brand is powered by ‘Purple Technology’; a global fintech firm that provides brokers with innovative trading solutions including server management and optimisation, web apps development, payment solutions and more. I am familiar with them from another broker, Purple Trading. They are also worth taking a look at for trading online.

Trading Conditions

Axiory uses advanced trading technologies and infrastructures with trading servers that are located in Equinix datacentres in London, Tokyo and New York. Trades are executed within 200ms or less. They offer fix protocol 4.4 trading solutions for experienced programmers and large volume traders. I find this to be really helpful in improving the overall trading conditions. The protocol ensures that all trades are executed directly in Equinix London (LD4). The main servers are backed up in real time. The stability this offers would also give me peace of mind when I’m trading with Axiory.

Axiory operates the Straight through Processing (STP) and Electronic Communication Network (ECN) broker models. There is No Dealing Desk (NDD) and thus, client orders are passed directly to the interbank liquidity pool where they are executed. I like this method as it ensures I only get the best prices and speeds available at all times. Other ECN brokers with comparable conditions include XM Group.

Community

In line with its corporate social responsibility, Axiory supports people in areas affected by disaster, poverty, etc. An example is the unfortunate major earthquake which hit Nepal in 2015. Axiory responded by donating $10,000 through UNICEF in the Czech Republic. Brokers who are socially responsible are definitely in my good books.

Axiory has also partnered with “GL Africa” to support abandoned children in Cameroon and Tanzania. The broker provides financial assistance so that these children will have good food, water, clothing, medication and education. GL Africa is a non-profit organisation, based in Czech Republic, with a mission to support abandoned children in Sub-Saharan Africa. This shows good social responsibility from an ethical broker.

Regulation

Axiory is regulated by the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC) in Belize. The broker maintains all the regulatory rules and regulations which are aimed at investor protection. I would’ve liked to see them being regulated by at least one tier-one broker. It would’ve immensely improved my trust in them. If you would prefer to trade with a tier-one regulated broker, IG could be alternative options for you to consider.

Funds

All client deposits are specifically held in segregated accounts maintained in reputable banks. These segregated funds are audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC); a reputable international network of financial services including auditing, etc. Despite the lack of tier-1 regulation, this helps to give me more confidence my funds will be in safe hands.

Security

Axiory follows a strict customer verification process and complies with Anti-money laundering (AML) policies. This entails that all clients are properly identified using ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) procedures. Before my live account was approved, I was required to submit a copy of my valid ID card as well as a utility bill. They also implement other security measures to ensure a safe transaction environment.

Countries

Axiory states clearly that it cannot accept clients from the United States. Their services are not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person in any jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation. Platforms

You have the choice of three of the best trading platforms to choose from. They are cTrader, MetaTrader 4 (MT4) & MetaTrader 5 (MT5). Axiory does not offer a dedicated social trading platform. If you would like a broker that provides social trading, you might want to check out eToro.

Axiory Platforms

cTrader

Axiory gives you access to trade with the cTrader platform via web browser, desktop and mobile devices. The Axiory cTrader for web is designed with html5. It fits on all screens and runs on all operating systems. This ensures that I can trade using any of my devices. The desktop version of cTrader can be downloaded and installed only on a Windows PC. The mobile cTrader can be downloaded and installed on android and iOS devices. Generally, similar features are obtainable irrespective of the cTrader version utilized. The cTrader platform is user friendly, fast and preloaded with essential tools.

cTrader Platforms

Here are some of the features of Axiory’s cTrader:

MT4

The MT4 platform is used by many traders because of its numerous expansion apps and inbuilt tools. Axiory MT4 is available as WebTrader, mobile and desktop applications. I could access the WebTrader version from Axiory’s website and run it without needing to download or install any additional software. It maintains most of the key features of the desktop version. The desktop version is designed to run on computers running the windows and MAC operating systems. MT4 is available for trading on the go with its iOS and Android apps.

MT4 Platform

Some of the features of MT4 you may find most useful are as follows:

• Supports automated trading with EAs
• Real time market “buy and sell” quotes on the charts and the customisable ‘market watch’ window
• Different order types can be placed, adjusted or closed
• All tradable assets can be displayed on 3 chart styles displayed across 9 timeframes
• Technical analysis using inbuilt/custom indicators and graphical objects
• Live account balances, account history, order history, etc

MT5

The MetaTrader 5 platform is an improved version of the MT4 platform with additional features and functionalities. This includes more technical indicators, timeframes and order types. I like how it has depth of market pricing with an advanced strategy tester that can back test multiple currency pairs with tick data. As with MT4, the platform is available for web, desktop and as a mobile trading app.

Personally, I still use MT4 as it was the first platform that I become aquatinted with and believe that it should meet the demands of the average retail trader. I find it to be ideal for both manual and automated trading. It can be fully customised according to your preferred trading style. You can make it as simplistic or complicated as you need it to be.

MT5 Platform

Tools

Axiory have some addditional trading tools but nothing too spectacular. The Autochartist sofwtare is useful and most of you could probably make do with the platforms redily available within the provided trading platforms. If you want lots of trading tools, BlackBull Markets have an excellent selection.

Autochartist

This tool is available to all real account holders at no additional cost. The brilliant Autochartist is an MT4 plugin tool that scans the markets, performs analyses and notifies the trader. The Autochartist software is fully customisable to the traders’ specifications and instruments of choice. This is one of my top trading tools when trading so I appreciate that it’s offered free of charge by Axiory. GO Markets also provide Trading Central in addition to Autochartist, both which are fantastic for finding customised trading signals.

Axiory Strike Indicator

This is an indicator designed to be installed on MT4 running on windows and MAC OS. The indicator analyzes currency pairs to identify trends. It outputs uptrends and downtrends in blue and red colours respectively.

Market News

The market news section is updated on the website but not daily. News releases can be used as part of a fundamental analysis. I would try to make sure to go through the latest news before I begin trading every day.

Technical Analysis

This section of the Axiory website is dedicated to analysing the price movements of selected instruments. This is a good way to try and get an understanding of where price action could be heading.

Axiory provides educational materials which really helped me improve my trading knowledge. The materials are freely accessible by clients who have registered for a real account. The training resources include:

Free eBooks

These are created by Axiory experts to help users learn how to trade. They are quite basic and I would say geared more towards the absolute novice.

Video Courses

These are a series of easy to understand video lessons that are specially prepared for new traders as well as experienced traders, covering a variety of trading subjects.

Markets

Axiory gives you access to trade over 150 trading instruments. This is quite less compared to the average being offered by other brokers. If you’re looking for a broker with a bigger offering, IG could be a great choice as they have more than 17,000 instruments to trade. I could not see any cryptos available. Therefore, if you want to trade cryptos, then I would consider XTB as an option. You can also check out our best crypto brokers for other alternatives.

With Axiory, you can trade the following:

• Forex currency pairs. These includes a range of major pairs, minor and exotic pairs
• Precious metals which includes Silver and Gold
• Plenty of CFDs which includes stocks and indices
• Real stocks and ETFs via the portfolio of services

Accounts

The Axiory Accounts offered are NANO, STANDARD, MAX, TERA and ALPHA. For all accounts, the minimum deposit is $10 and a maximum leverage of 1:777. The account currencies can be in USD, EUR or JPY. To be honest, I did not find the broker to have the cheapest fees or lowest spreads. If costs are important to your trading strategy, Pepperstone could be an alternative worth your consideration.

Standard Account

This is the most popular account on the MT4 platform. It is designed for all kinds of traders. The trading fees are incorporated into the spread and the execution type utilized is the straight Through Processing (STP) method. The typical spread for the popular EURUSD currency pairs starts from 1.0 pip.

Nano Spread Account

This is the ECN account which offers good execution speeds and tight spreads. The EURUSD spread starts from 0.2 pips. A transaction fee of $10 per lot is charged. This account will usually have the tightest spreads and fastest execution speeds.

Corporate Accounts

The minimum deposit is $1,000 and the leverage is up to 1:400. Account holders also benefit from STP and ECN technologies. I like how all trading styles and strategies are allowed with this account type.

Demo Accounts

If you are new to trading then a demo account can be a great way for you to practice your trading strategies risk free. I always like to see what a broker has to offer on a demo account before making a financial commitment.

Support

I appreciate how Axiory prides itself as a broker that uses a ‘human to human’ approach. The client support desk reflects this philosophy by being attentive, proactive and very resourceful. Axiory states that its support team is well trained and highly educated. The team can be reached 24/5 through email, instant web chat and phone calls. I would’ve liked if they offered 24/7 customer support like Bold Prime. On social media, they can be reached via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.

Funding

I found Axiory to have a good choice of options for making deposits and withdrawals. I especially like the digital wallet options as this means I can get quick access to my funds, compared to waiting days for a bank transfer to clear. However, they do not currently accept cryptos. If you need a broker that does support crypto funding, KOT4X is an option that I think is worth consideration.

Wire Transfer

Axiory states that it processes bank transfer deposits and withdrawals in a business day. However, I found that it may take 3-5 days before the money reaches your account in case of withdrawal.

Credit/Debit cards

The deposits I made through this payment method reflected instantly in my account. For first time deposits, the card is verified by uploading its picture.

Online Gateways

Netelle and  Skrill are the e-payment channels accepted by Axiory. I found that deposits via these channels are usually instant but withdrawals can take up to 24hours.

Conclusion

I am confident in Axiory Global as they have been operating for many years now. The broker has embraced modern technology and continues to expand its services to meet the demands of the modern traders. I found its servers to be fast, digitally protected and duly backed up. Client funds are segregated and any dispute can be forwarded to the financial commission for resolution or compensations. This all gives me peace of mind and ensures that I can focus on my trading without needing to worry.

As a customer of Axiory, you can get access to powerful and user-friendly platforms that have advanced tools for analysing charts, processing orders and automated trading. I like how they welcome all trading styles and levels of traders. Mobile trading is equally supported by the platforms via mobile apps. The broker offers ECN and STP trading which gives traders direct access to the markets without broker interference. Whatever your trading style, you can get comfortable access to the markets.

However, I found the asset listing of Axiory to be limited when compared to other online brokers who offer thousands of tradable assets. The IFSC regulation is not considered as stringent by some traders when compared to that of the FCA, ASIC and CySEC.
