ACY Securities contributes to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s colorectal care
As it continues to announce additional charitable gifts and sponsorships, ACY Securities is on a roll in terms of social responsibility.
The CFD brokerage, which is subject to ASIC regulation, most recently contributed to a charity golf outing at Stone Cutters Ridge Golf Club. The Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s colorectal service, which focuses on enhancing the care for newborns with complex bowel issues that impair their large bowel, will get the funds.
Donation to raise money and awareness for children
The money generated will guarantee that the kids treated at all the Children’s Hospitals have access to the greatest tools, research, and medical professionals so they can get the best care.
According to Ashley Jessen, Chief Operating Officer at ACY Securities, “Going back many years, a work colleague and his wife had twins and one of them had complications of the bowel, which took over 3 months to rectify. The family went through many challenges during that time, and the work of the hospital staff were amazing, to ensure a positive result for the newborn and parents.”
“This fundraising event is not only raising awareness for this medical issue, but it will also provide much-needed financial support to children with bowel problems and to the medical staff who attend to them. We fully support this commendable effort.”
Following the previous announcement that ACY would host a day at the aquarium with the children from Barnardos Australia Auburn Long Day Care Center, comes this most recent contribution.
